Lucix Receives Space RF Electronics Award from The Boeing Company

CAMARILLO, CA-The Lucix Corporation today announced that it has been awarded a contract to build flight Power Monitors by Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems in El Segundo, CA. The units are to be part of a payload being built by Boeing for the MUOS Satellite.

The Power Monitor incorporates 2, independent channels providing RF power detection and telemetry at UHF band for the MUOS communications payload.

Lucix has previously received two other contracts for the MUOS satellite from Lockheed Martin.

About The MUOS Program --The Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) will be a network of DOD-controlled satellites and associated ground facilities providing worldwide communication services to mobile and fixed site users.  It will provide global SATCOM narrowband (64kpbs and below) connectivity for voice, video and data for US and Allied services. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor, and is teamed with General Dynamics C4 Systems, Harris Corp. and Boeing Satellite Systems.
