Lucix recognizes the critical importance for our shared planet of driving to a lower carbon usage economy. We have committed ourselves to define and implement initiatives for efficient energy use and socially responsible contributions to the local environment and economy.

Office Initiatives
Energy
Reduction in electricity consumption and emissions associated with our operations constitute key initiatives for lowering carbon usage.
- LED Lighting
- Auto On/Off lighting with presence detection
- Automatic programmable efficient air conditioning and heating control
- Reflective roofing
Recycling:
- All paper and plastic products are separated for recycling
- Single-use plastic eating & drinking utensils eliminated
- Single-use garments have been replaced by reusable garments
Facility Initiatives:
- Electric Car charging stations, in-progress
- Bicycles encouraged – parking stations, in-progress
Water
Lucix does not use significant amounts of water in its manufacturing process, however we have embraced state-wide water conservation initiatives and will introduce low flow fixtures throughout the building.
